Salvage Prostate Re-irradiation for Post-RT Local Recurrence

This is part I of a II part series on Salvage Brachytherapy for Locally Recurrent Prostate Cancer. These webinars will provide valuable insights into the techniques, imaging options, and treatment approaches for this challenging condition.

The webinars are divided into 2 sessions: during the first webinar on December 15th at 12:00 pm Eastern, our faculty will delve into the indications for different techniques used in Salvage Brachytherapy, including Low Dose Rate (LDR), High Dose Rate (HDR) brachytherapy and Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT).

In the second webinar on January 26 at 12:00 pm Eastern, they will discuss the role of advanced imaging modalities such as PSMA PET CT and MRI in accurately identifying recurrent lesions and provide detailed technical aspects for both HDR and LDR brachytherapy.

Furthermore, we will explore the concept of focal therapy versus whole gland treatment in Salvage Brachytherapy. Our speakers will share their experiences and provide evidence-based recommendations to help guide clinical decision-making.
